Johan Van Doorn Johan Van Doorn, 62 Princess St., Fort Erie, died March 10, 1984 at Douglas Memorial Hospital.
Born in the Netherlands, March 9, 1912, Mr. Van Doorn had worked at Gould Battery, retiring in 1972 after 15 years service.
Mr. Van Doorn is survived by his wife Dina Van Doorn; his sons, John and Ben of Fort Erie and Joop, Freek and Guus in the Netherlands; two daughters, Ineke (Mrs. Sal Cirillo), Fort Erie and Lien in the Netherlands; a sister, Mrs. Marie Joon of Fort Erie and by four grandchildren in Fort Erie, Michael, Ryan, Susie and Jerry and by ten grandchildren in the Netherlands.
Funeral services were held Monday, March 12, 1984 at 1 p.m. in the Fort Erie Chapel of the Davidson Funeral Homes with Rev. R. Pocklington officiating.
Interment was in Greenwood Cemetery.
