Richard James Youells, 136 Pleasant Ave., died at Douglas Memorial Hospital July 5, 1985.
Born in Buffalo, N.Y. Feb. 16, 1920 Mr. Youells was retired from F.M. Burt Co. where he worked for 42 years, first as a tool and die maker then as a carton designer. He had resided here several years.
Mr. Youells was a member of All Saints Anglican Church where he had been a rector's warden for several years. He had served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the American Legion Post 1632 and an associate member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch 230.
He is survived by his wife, Doris (Kuechle); a son, Richard of Fort Erie; two daughters, Karen (Mrs. Donald Villa) of Tonawanda, NY, and Sally (Mrs. Earl Minney) of Cheektowaga, N.Y. and 11 grandchildren..
The Rev. Robert Harrold officiated funeral service July 8 at 11 a.m. at All Saints Anglican Church.
Interment was in Acacia Park, North Tonawanda, N.Y.
Arrangements were handled by Williams Funeral Home.
