John Constable Wiseman of 991 Glenridge, St. Catharines, formerly of Fort pre died at his residence Saturday, Oct. 20, 1984 in his
M Wiseman was born in Clinton, Ont. and was a retired bank manager. He lived in Fort Erie for 48 years and in St. Catharines only for the past few years. Mr Wiseman was a highly respected member of the Fort Erie Community and was former president of the Chamber of Commerce, former member of the Red Cross Society, former president of the Navy League of Canada: former member of the Fort Crie Lions Club and Co-founder of Rio Vista Golf Course where he held a lifetime honorary membership. He was an avid golfer and la bowler
Mr. Wiseman was predeceased by his wife, Ethel Wiseman, in 1944. He is survived by two daughters Jessie (Mrs. Albert Holmes) of Garden City Long Island, NY Ruth Mrs. Dennis O'Shaughnessy) of St. Catharines; four grandchildren, Paul Holmes, John, Stephen, Denise O'Shaughnessy Mr. Wiseman was predeceased by one brother, William, and three sisters. Mrs. Clara Roberson, Margaret Pro wse and Jessie MacCalluna.
He rested at Butler Funeral Home in St Catharines followed by cremation
Interment of cremated re.
Greenwood Cemetery Saturday Nov. 1984 and be officiated by the Rev. Pockla
Expressions of sympathy in the form of donations to the Heart Fund would be appreciated by the family
The Kindest of men, he will be sadly missed by all who knew him
