VAN MELE, Carol - Born February 2nd
1927 in St. Niklaas, Belgium, Carol succumbed to cancer and passed away in her sleep October 11th, 2010, at Douglas Memorial Hospital at the age of 83. She was the beloved wife of the late Omer Van Mele and mother of the late Luke Van Mele. She is survived and will be sadly missed by her daughter Linda, her son-in-law Doug, her granddaughter Tracy and her grandson Nicholas. She will also be missed by all her friends at Fort Erie Racetrack. By her wishes, there will be no memorial service held. Arrangements entrusted to NIAGARA FUNERAL ALTERNATIVES 905-894-0120.
