CLIFFORD WINGER
Clifford Winger, 1713 Stevensville Rd., died in Douglas Memorial Hospital March 7, 1984.
Born in Springvale, Ontario Feb. 8, 1898, Mr. Winger was the last charter member of the Dominion Masonic Lodge. He was also a member of the Rose Croix, the Scottish Rite, and was an honorary elder of Stevensville United Church.
Mr. Winger had farmed and worked in the farm market until he was 80 years old.
Predeceased by his wife, Esther Tripp, Mr Winger is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Carlton (george) Miller (Jean) of Stevensville; two grandchildren, Frank Miller of Willowdale, Mrs. Tim Curtis (Linda) of Stoney Creek and
three great grandchildren, Shari and Andrea Curtis and Andrew Miller.
The Dominion Lodge, assisted by members of the Grand Lodge Officers, conducted a memorial service in the Chapel of the Williams Funeral Home, Friday, March 9 at 7pm.
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 1:30pm in the Stevensville United Church with the Rev. Judith Vaclavik officiating.
Interment was in St. John's Ridgemount Cemetery.
