Madge Victoria Wolbert, of 54 Archange St., Fort Erie, died at Crescent Park Lodge, Fort Erie, on Thursday, April 28, 1988. She was 87.
Born in Fort Erie on February 26, 1901. Mrs. Wolbert was a housewife.
Mrs. Wolbert is survived by two sons, Allan, and his wife Thelma, of Fort Erie, and Donald, and his wife Kathy, of Ottawa: three daughters. Evelyn (Mrs. Robert Meldrum) of Welland and Irene Hanna of Saskatoon; 29 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was predeceased by her husband, Louis Wolbert; by one son, Charles; and by one sister, Shirley Foster.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, April 30, 1988, at 1 p.m., at the Fort Erie Chapel of the Davidson Funeral Homes, with Rev. Ken Ramsey officiating.
Interment followed in Greenwood Cemetery.
