Vincent Ross Winger, of 4718 Michener Rd., died at Sunset Haven, Welland on Sunday, July 10.
Born in Stevensville March 2, 1914 Mr. Winger lived in this area all of his life. He was a member of the Sherkston Brethren in Christ Church and had worked for Horton CBI as a fitter for 38 years.
He is survived by his wife. Gladys and son, Ralph, of Ridgeway, and daughters, Beverley (Mrs. Ray Frayle) of Ridgeway and Janet Winger of Dunnville. Also surviving are three sisters: Rose (Mrs. Ross Bearss), Orpha (Mrs. Chester Riegle), both of Ridgeway and
Helen (Mrs. Edward Saylor) of Stevensville; and five grandchildren.
Mr. Winger was predeceased by a sister, Vera Sider.
Funeral service was held Wednesday, July 13 at 2 p.m. at Sherkston Brethren in Christ Church with Pastor Leonard Chester and Pastor John Day officiating.
Soloist was Howard Fretz.
Interment was in Sherkston Brethren in Christ Church Cemetery.
The Williams Funeral Home, Ridgeway handled arrangements.
