WINGER, Rhoda Mae - After a courageous battle with cancer at the Douglas Memorial Hospital, Rhoda went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, October 30, 2002 in her 76th year. She was the beloved wife of Arnold "Barney" Winger for 56 years, loving mother of Gloria and her husband John Gabor, Welland; Gwen Winger, Fort Erie; and Greg Winger and his wife Marie, Mississauga; cherished grandma of Craig Sabourin, Fort Erie; John Gabor and his wife Tracey, Welland; Cheryl Guthro, Fort Erie; Anne Sabourin, Fort Erie and Nicole Winger, Ottawa; devoted great-grandma of Jamie, Amanda, River, Chad, Corrinne and Curtis. Rhoda is survived by her sister Myrtle and her husband Morley Findlayson, Ridgeway and brother Ernest Anger, Crystal Beach Predeceased by her sisters and brothers Lillian House, Alfred Anger, Walter Anger, Helen Atkins, Grace Schoenhals and Jack Anger. A memorial service will be held in THE FORT ERIE CHAPEL of the DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOMES, 21 Wintemute Street on Saturday, at 11:00 o'clock. Cremation has taken place. Interment will take place at later date As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. A memorial tree will be planted to honour the memory of Rhoda in Memory Woods.
