LORETTA MARGARET
WILLICK Loretta Margaret Willick, of Snyder, died at Hotel Dieu Hospital, St. Catharines, on Sunday, March 6, 1988. She was 84.
Born in Buffalo on February 28, 1904, the daughter of Andrew and Rosa Friedman. Mrs. Willick operated Willick's Store in New Germany and was Past Regent of the Catholic Women's League, Daughters of Isabella.
She was a member of St. Joseph's (Snyder) Catholic Church, the Diocesan Council, a member of the Third Order of Carmelite, a member of the Mental Health Association and the Children's Aid Society. She also helped establish the C.W.L. in this area.
Beloved sister of Ameilia Brett of Niagara Falls, N.Y.. Vincent Willick of Port Robinson. Marie Murphy of Chattanooga, Tennessee, and Rose Sterry, of Chippawa. Loving aunt of Rose Marie, Theresa, Anne, Pat and Candace.
Also survived by several great-nieces and great-nephews and two great-greatnephews.
Friends may call at the Williams Funeral Home, 722 Ridge Rd. N., Ridgeway, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, March 8, 1988. Parish prayers will be recited at the funeral home at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 8, 1988.
Mass for a Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Joseph's (Snyder) Catholic Church on Wednesday, March 9, 1988, at 11 a.m., with Father Joe Ingrao and Father Al Bates officiating.
Interment will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
