The first annual Harvest Fest Multicultural Theme Dayt was a marked success. Activities were held in Crystal Beach.

A fourteen hour rain storm caused considerable flooding and the backing up of sewers into people's houses.

Nineteen-year old Ryan Brunning took the red ribbon for first prize in the eighteen to twenty-four month old cagegory of the baby contest at the fair.
