The Commercial House was only of many hotels in Fort Erie. Other hotels included The Barnea and The King Edward. These hotels had included taverns on their main floors and often catered to American visitors.
The Fort Erie Chapter of the Association of Border Services formulate plans through a special committee to host their twenty-eighth annual convention at the Garrison Motor Inn.
