Spelling Bee
On Friday, May 24 and Saturday, May 25, the Friends of the Library are hosting a Silent Auction at the Centennial Branch of the Fort Erie Public Library. In collaboration with this fundraiser, we are planning some special events at the library.
To cap off the events on Saturday, we will be hosting a spelling bee, which is a great way to promote learning and self-confidence among youth, while developing vocabulary and communication skills. While by nature of the event, spelling bees are competitive, we endeavour to create a supportive and compassionate learning opportunity for our community.
