John Yuhas of 226 Walden Blvd. died at the Crescent Park Lodge, Fort Erie, on March 22, 1985.
Born in Czechoslovakia, Mr. Yuhas was the former owner and operator of the Peace Bridge Motel and retired in 1972.
A resident of Fort Erie since 1949, Mr. Yuhas was a member of St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mary (nee Belus), two daughters, Margaret (Mrs. Michael George) of Fort Erie and Anne (Mrs. Joseph Kranics) of Fort Erie. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Gregory, Geoffrey, Edward, and Jennifer George; Kevin, Ken and Kris Kranics and Karen (nee Kranics) Pilote.
A funeral mass for a Christian burial was conducted on Monday, March 25, 1985 at 10 a.m. at St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church. Father Peter Walton was the officiating minister.
Arrangements were handled by the Fort Erie chapel of Davidson Funeral Homes.
Interment followed at Greenwood Cemetery.
