ORPHA YOUNG Orpha (Dolly) Young, formerly of Cutler Street in Ridgeway, died at Gilmore Lodge on Tuesday, Oct. 24,
Born in Ridgeway on April 19, 1901 she was a lifelong resident here and was employed as a school teacher at Ridgeway Public School. She was a member of Memorial United Church. .
Predeceased by her husband, Memorial Cemetery. Charles Young, in 1955 Mrs. Young is survived by her son, Douglas and his wife, Jackie, of Ridgeway; grandchildren, Steven and Lorna Young; and her sister, Margaret (Peggy) Hombach and Mildred Hannon.
The Rev Sally Ann Longfellow of Memorial United Church officiated the funeral service held at 3pm. Friday Oct 27 in the chapel of the The Williams Funeral Home, Ridgeway. Internment was in Ridgeway Memorial Cemetery.
