Short-term rental operations restricted in Fort Erie
FORT ERIE (May 29, 2020) As the warmer weather approaches, short-term rental operators in Fort Erie may feel the urge to disregard restrictions imposed by the province and resume operations.
The Town of Fort Erie would like to remind short-term rental operators that disobeying these restrictions will result in a fine up to $750.
“Town Staff is very aware that many short-term rental operators rely on the income that is generated during the summer season. We understand the inconvenience this causes; however, the restrictions are put in place for a reason. It is in our community’s best interest to ensure we enforce these restrictions to the fullest,†said Tom Kuchyt, Chief Administration Officer.
