LESLIE WINGER Leslie Raymond "Bud" Winger of 1A Bowden St., Fort Erie died at Douglas Memorial Hospital on Oct. 28, 1989.
Born in Bertie Township on Jan. 13, 1927 Mr. Winger was employed with the maintenance staff at the Ontario Jockey Club here. A lifelong resident of Fort Erie he was a member of the Salvation Army.
Predeceased by his parents Herbie and Ethel Winger, Mr. Winger is survived by his brother, Donald William Winger of Fort Erie; his sister, Mrs. Catherine Yokim of Crystal Beach and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased also by his sister, Ester May.
Col. John Nelson of the Salvation Army officiated the funeral service held at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 30.
At the request of the family memoriams to the Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully appreciated.
Arrangements were entrusted to the Fort Erie chapel of the Davidson Funeral Homes.
