WILSON, Donald Taylor D.D.S. - on Monday. November 17, 1997 at his home peacefully, with his family at his side. Born in St. George, New Brunswick in 1914, an Honours Graduate of the University of Toronto in 1938, he practised dentistry with his father in Fredericton, New Brunswick until 1958 and then in Ridgeway, Ontario until his retirement in 1979. He and his wife spent their retirement in New Brunswick until 1990 and then returned to Ridgeway for his last years. He served in the Dental Corps of the Canadian Armed Forces achieving the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He was a veteran of World War II and a lifetime member of Imperial Council Nobles Mystic Shrine. Dr. Wilson is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years Helen (Wetmore). Dear father of Lee Malloy of Niagara Falls, Mary (Jim) Burrison of Ridgeway, and Don (Beverley) Wilson of Sherkston. Dear brother of Dorothy Wilson of Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. Also survived by eight grandchildren, Michael, Marci and Jim Malloy, Anita (Thompson), Craig Burrison, Jeff, Jamie and Jessica Wilson, and one great grandson Noah Thompson. Predeceased by his parents Dr. Edson and Lela Wilson, sister Eileen Tennant and granddaughter Jennifer Wilson. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. Private family arrangements were entrusted to THE WILLIAMS FUNERAL HOME. Dad went to a Glorious Place of Rest.
