The Winter Skating Party was held in Crystal Beach on a frozen-over Lake Erie in 1967. Centennial silver dollars were awarded as prizes.
The old water tower can be seen in the background. The Crystal Beach Water Works, built in 1925, still stands at 4100 Erie Rd.
